A family business, in numbers:
A safe and secure home away from home
Welcoming international students for over two decades has taught us that safety is not a checklist; it is the small, consistent things. Students are met by their host family at the end of each school day and dropped off again the following morning. They never travel into town alone in the evenings, and once they are home for the day, they are home. Our team is on call from arrival to departure, and we always meet every prospective host family in their own home before they welcome their first student.
A family-run school, rooted in Hastings
Founded in 2000 by a mother and son who wanted to share their stunning seaside town with the world, Charles Eaton has spent over two decades welcoming international students into Hastings, East Sussex. We are a member of HOSAC, the Hastings Overseas Student Advisory Council, and our work is rooted in the long, rich tradition this town has of welcoming young people from across Europe.

Our host family are very friendly and hospitable. Thank you very much.
We all had a really good time there. Our host parents were so nice and the house was small but cozy, and I felt comfortable there.
They are really great, they have such a good vibe, very caring, we need more people like them in the world, honestly.
